“The United Kingdom is Florida’s largest tourism market. The number of
visitors arriving from the U.K. is expected to grow appreciably this year
—and continue to grow in the coming years,” said William D. Talbert III,
president & CEO, Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau. “American’s
new direct Miami-Manchester service gives a welcome boost to Miami-Dade’s
tourism industry and makes it easier than ever for U.K. tourists to visit
us here in Miami.”

Miami is American’s top international gateway. American and its regional
partner American Eagle operate the airport’s largest flight schedule with
more than 200 flights a day to 90 destinations, including 35 cities in the
United States, three destinations in Europe, two in Canada and 50 in the
Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Latin America.
