The Sugar Mill Restaurant in the British Virgin Islands has been named by a second readers’ poll as one of the best restaurants in the Caribbean. The readers of Caribbean Travel and Life recently named the Sugar Mill Restaurant as one of the four best in the Caribbean. Previously, The Sugar Mill Hotel was honoured as one of the three best restaurants in the Caribbean and Mexico on Celebrated Living’s Platinum List. Celebrated Living is the magazine for American Airline’s first and business class passengers.

Housed in an old stone sugar mill and lit by flickering candles, the Sugar Mill offers an ever-changing menu of creative dishes combining Caribbean flavors with classical and contemporary influences.

“We’re delighted to have received this recognition for the hard work of our kitchen and wait staff,” said General Manager Patrick Conway of the Sugar Mill Hotel and Restaurant. The Sugar Mill is owned by Jinx and Jeff Morgan, long time food writers and contributing editors and columnists for Bon Appetit magazine.
