Ramesys Launches SABS Interactive

the holiday selling process for agents.
SABS Interactive allows agents to select destinations based on customers’ holiday
preferences and then complete bookings. The system is accessible through agents’
desktops, and can be incorporated into retailers’ websites, transforming the search
experience for online bookers and galvanising agents’ web sales.

SABS Interactive enables agents to find the ideal destination from over 35 search
criteria including family facilities, attractions and nightlife, so enabling agents
to close sales more effectively.

The system also presents background information and pictures of destinations, and
directly links to e-brochure pages of thousands of hotels worldwide.

When the agent has confirmed a customer’s holiday preferences, they can complete the
booking by directly linking into the systems of tour operators featuring the


The web-based multi-operator search and booking system, which launches in June,
builds on the success of Ramesys’ SABS Agent system, and allows agents to search
millions of up-to-date, bookable holiday and charter flight options.

Brian Sheerin, managing director of Ramesys said: “SABS Interactive will transform
the selling environment for agents. Because it is based on lifestyle criteria,
consumers have a new reason to use agents for booking holidays rather than turning
to the web.

“Agents will now make more sales because their customers can see their dream holiday
being sourced in front of their eyes.”

Ramesys has created agreements with search specialist Quickheart, and brochure
content provider TravelMedia, in creating the extensive functionality to power SABS
