has today announced a contract to supply its pioneering SABS Agent booking system to Flight Centre, to help power the UK-growth of one of the world’s largest independent travel retailers.Through the agreement Ramesys will supply 90 of Flight Centre’s UK agencies with the web-based multi-operator search and booking solution, so providing over 500 of the retailer’s agents with instant access to millions of up-to-date, bookable holiday and charter flight options.

Flight Centre operates more than 1,200 retail stores across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the USA, Canada and Hong Kong, and specialises in the sale of international airfares, holiday packages, domestic travel and ancillary product sales.

SABS Agent searches product from multiple operators simultaneously, through a range of easy-to-use criteria such as destination, price or even lifestyle requirements such as family-friendly beaches, shopping choices or other amenities.

The system also generates web links with every result, which Flight Centre agents will use to source information on everything from low-cost airlines to rail travel and weather, so enhancing their customer service capabilities at the point of sale.
