Emirates Signs Interline Agreement with Skywest

Emirates Airline has signed an Interline Agreement with Western Australia’s Skywest Airlines that will allow Emirates’ international passengers to fly from Perth onto the State’s unique regional attractions on one ticket.

The agreement will provide benefits for both Emirates and Skywest customers through a seamless ticket transaction.

Eddie Lim, Emirates Area Manager Australia said the agreement will help to increase the number of international visitors to regional Western Australia.

He commented: “Some of Australia’s unique attractions can be found across this vast State.  Now world-famous destinations such as tropical Broome in the north, colourful Kalgoorlie in the goldfields and historic Albany in the south, will be more accessible to Emirates customers.

“Perth is an extremely popular destination for European passengers and we are confident that we can now make regional WA their next stop,” he added.

Mr Lim said Skywest is a quality regional Australian airline with an emphasis on service excellence. This made it an appropriate partner for Emirates, which has won more than 250 international awards since its launch in 1985.

Emirates, the world’s fastest-growing intercontinental airline, flies to 76 cities in 54 countries in Europe, Middle East, Africa, the Indian subcontinent, Asia-Pacific and, from 1 June, North America.

Skywest flies to 13 destinations throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory and operates a combined fleet of Fokker 50 and Fokker 100 aircraft.
