Air Wisconsin Earns Operational Excellence Award

Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation
(AWAC) has been selected to receive the Operational Excellence Award from
AIG Aviation, Inc. AWAC was singled out from more than 700 companies.

Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, AIG Aviation, Inc. is the leading U.S.-based
aviation insurance organization. AIG Aviation’s awards program is designed
to recognize client accounts that have made tremendous advances in
developing quality operational and safety procedures. AWAC was selected
for many reasons including the airline’s proactive approach to safety.

“AWAC has demonstrated a strong commitment to building a quality safety
and loss prevention program. We are very pleased with the company’s
direction and are delighted to present the Operational Excellence Award to
this deserving recipient,” stated Lynn Weaver, Vice President, AIG
Aviation, Inc.

“We are proud to receive this award as it reflects the work of employees
from across the company,” said Rose Lussier, Vice President, Chief
Accounting & Information Systems Officer for AWAC.

The award will be presented to AWAC employees in a ceremony to be held at
Chicago’s O’Hare Airport on Friday, May 14, 2004.

AWAC schedules more than 450 departures per day to 56 cities in 25 states
and two Canadian provinces. The fleet includes 70 Canadair regional jets
and 17 BAe-146 jets. As United Express, it feeds United Airlines at
Chicago, Denver and Washington’s Dulles Airport. As AirTran JetConnect,
the company feeds AirTran at its Atlanta hub, as well as providing service
within the state of Florida. More than 3,500 people make up the AWAC team.
