Delta Contributes to Lower Manhattan Revitalization

Delta Air Lines supports New
York’s revitalization efforts through its signature sponsorship of the
2004 Tribeca Film Festival for the third straight year.
As part of its festival sponsorship, Delta will provide tickets to various
premier screenings throughout this coming weekend to lucky Delta
customers, as well as distribute joint American Express/Delta promotional
coupons at this weekend’s street festival and throughout the week-long
celebration. Customers who use their American Express cards can purchase
weekend travel on the Delta Shuttle through Aug. 29, 2004, for $69
roundtrip*.

“Delta has supported the Lower Manhattan neighborhood ever since the
Tribeca Film Festival was born three years ago,” said Delta’s Consumer
Marketing Vice President Patrice Miles. “This is one of many ways Delta is
showing its commitment to New York and its people, culture, and economic
well- being.”

“There’s a real sense of renewal and growth downtown,” said Tribeca
founder and actor Robert De Niro. “It is great to see so many people come
together to celebrate the art of film in the heart of downtown.”

The week-long festival will culminate at the May 9 awards ceremony with
Miles presenting the best actor and actress awards along with a Tribeca
juror. She also will offer these winners two Delta BusinessElite tickets
for international travel. Jurors participating in the Tribeca Film
Festival this year include actors Glenn Close, Jeffrey Wright, Whoopi
Goldberg and Mary Louise Parker.

Delta continues to show its devotion to New York through its plan to
invest approximately $300 million in the terminal at New York’s JFK
International Airport to enhance the customer’s travel and airport
experience in addition to expanded service to destinations including
Denver, San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Whether traveling for business or pleasure, New Yorkers can enjoy
excellent customer service options on Delta from JFK and five other New
York-area airports to almost anywhere in the world.
