Those wishing to enter the contest need only to log on to www.rivieramaya.com, the official website of the Riviera Maya, and enter to win a memorable Honeymoon vacation for two.  After researching all the intimate hideaways, romantic places and ancient archaeological wonders that just-married couples can experience together, entrants then simply write a 50-word essay outlining what their ideal romantic spot in the Riviera Maya would be and why.

Entrants for the “Honeymoon Vacation Contest” receive a chance to win a six-day/five-night stay for two in a luxurious double room at the exquisite La Tortuga Hotel (see www.cozyhotelsandvillas.com for property details) just around the corner from the famous 5th Avenue and its myriad of cafés, restaurants and colorful Mexican handicraft shops in the Playa del Carmen section of Mexico’s Riviera Maya region; airfare for two; an intimate dinner at Alux Restaurant including two complimentary national drinks (lobster entrée is not included); two passes to Xel-Ha eco-archaeological park; and two 50-minute massages, one each for the bride and groom, known as the “Itza Special Massage” courtesy of the Riviera Maya.

Contest entrants must include their intended date of marriage in their 50-word essay.  Entries are being accepted through midnight on June 30, 2004.  Only one entry per person is permitted. The winner will be selected on or about July 16, 2004 and will be notified via email no later than July 23, 2004.  The complimentary 6-day/5-night hotel stay is non-transferable and may not be sold or reassigned.  All other expenses not specified above are not included and are the sole responsibility of the winner.
