iJET Named Best Customer Service Organization Finalist

iJET Travel Risk Management today announced that it has been named a finalist in the category of Best Customer Service Organization for the American Business Awards, to be presented May 10 in New York City.

Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” by the New York Post (September 22, 2002), The American Business Awards are the first national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace.  More than 800 nominations from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Best Overall Company, Best Executive, and Best New Product or Service.

“We have always tried to provide our clients with an exceptional experience, and have been responsive to their changing needs during a time of dramatic growth for iJET,” said Carol Lazio, iJET’s VP of Client Services.  “During 2003, we increased the number of travelers we track and monitor every minute of every day by more than six hundred and fifty percent.  Due to the quality of our staff and the power and scalability of our award-winning technology, we have successfully managed this growth while maintaining the highest levels of customer service.”

“We’re honored to be a finalist for the Stevies, and thrilled to see our customer service team recognized for their hard work and dedication,” said iJET CEO Bruce McIndoe.  “Customer service is our first priority at iJET, and I am proud to see our staff consistently meet the expectations of a very demanding client base of Global 1000 companies. This nomination further demonstrates the success of our client partnership philosophy, and iJET’s position as the market leader in travel risk management.”

“The Stevie Award has quickly become the most coveted business honor in America,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards.  “We began the Stevies in 2002 with the mission to generate recognition of deserving companies and individuals among the business community, the press, and the general public.  Being selected as a Finalist is an important achievement, because it means that independent judges have agreed that the Finalist is worthy of national recognition.  We congratulate all of the Finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition.”
