Amman Marriott Makes Condé Nast Traveler Gold List

The Amman Marriott Hotel is the only hotel in Jordan that has been placed on the 2004 Condé Nast Traveler Gold List, an annual guide to the Top 700 hotels, resorts, and cruise lines in the world. Marriott Hotel in Amman has been placed on the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List
The score on the Gold List is derived from responses of the Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Poll, the oldest and largest independent poll of travel consumers published.

Unlike many other travel publications, Condé Nast Traveler does not accept free travel and accommodations, and its correspondents, as far as possible, travel anonymously. The result is travel the way consumers experience it - good and bad, with reporting that is fair and honest. Condé Nast Traveler recently won its 6th National Magazine Award and is still the only travel publication to have won the highest honor in magazine publishing.

John Northen, Country General Manager for Marriott Hotels commented, ‘We are thrilled that the Amman Marriott Hotel has been recognized once again by such a prestigious publication. This is truly a valuable distinction since the readers of Condé Nast are the most affluent, sophisticated and frequent travelers, to be collectively judged by them and ranked among the best in the world is an honor.’ He added, ‘This was only achieved as a result of the dedication and commitment of our hardworking staff that demonstrate the true meaning of the ‘Spirit to Serve’.
