Amadeus e-TravelÊAppoints Klaus Goddard

Amadeus e-Travel announced today the appointment of Klaus Goddard as the head of Amadeus e-Travel in the UK.

Klaus’ appointment comes after 12 months of strong growth for e-Travel in the UK and as the latest version of e-Travel’s corporate booking solution Aergo - the first single-platform, global booking tool for the corporate travel market - is being launched in the UK.Ê

Marcos Isaac, Director Corporate and Distributor Channels, e-Travel, said “Klaus’ appointment demonstrates the commitment e-Travel has in developing theÊUK market.Ê We have spent the last year investing heavily in our technology and Klaus will head the e-Travel team in the UK to take this message to market by continuing to strengthen and build on our existing sales channels which include global reseller agreements with agencies such as American Express and TQ3.”

Klaus joined Amadeus in 1998 and has workedÊin a number of commercial and project roles - primarily managing the implementation and delivery of Amadeus toÊits top 5 UK customers.Êincluding ebookers and lastminute.com as well as Gold Medal Travel.Ê Prior to joining Amadeus, Klaus, fluent in German and English, gained international experience with one of the largest consolidators in Germany (Travel Overland) in addition to working for Sabre and a retail agency in Canada.
