The Westin and Sheraton at Our Lucaya to host Celebrity Golf Tournament

TeeShots Event Management and Grenacher Watches will hold “The 2004 Grenacher Ultimate Golf Camp and Celebrity Golf Classic” at the Westin and Sheraton at Our Lucaya on Grand Bahama Island June 20-26.  The Grenacher Ultimate Celebrity Classic features a two-day celebrity-amateur event where golf enthusiasts
will play with a different celebrity each day. Followed by a celebrity only final round where 40 celebrities
compete for approximately $65,000 in prize money. Such notable celebrities as actors Corbin Bernsen of LA Law;
Brande Roderick, co-star of Starsky & Hutch; Fred Williamson - former NFL great (Hammer) and actor
(Starsky & Hutch); John Castellanos from the Young and the Restless, Jim McMahon, Oscar Robinson,
Coach Barry Switzer and Len Dawson, NFL Hall of Famer plan to participate in the charity event.

This unique event features a first of its kind Junior Golf Camp for junior golfers aged 12-18, that
includes instruction by several of the country’s top college golf coaches, celebrities and vacation for parents
and siblings in a tropical setting. 

Event organizer, Steve Ritter said, “We have been planning this event with several of the country’s
best golf coaches and we are excited about the unique junior camp and the response by major sports celebrities. 
We have put together a classic event that will benefit charities here in Georgia as well as the Children’s Home
on Grand Bahama Island”. 

Larry Mays, Head Men’s Golf Coach at Georgia Southern University & CEO of TeeShots
Event Management said,  “This special golf experience will be an incredible opportunity for
young golfers looking to improve their overall golf game and for parents interested in preparing
to market their children to play college golf.”  Mays has assembled several of the top college golf
coaches to join him at this luxurious resort including North Carolina golf coach John Inman; Greg Jones,
head men’s golf coach, Louisiana State University, and The University of South Carolina’s golf coach,
Puggy Blackmon, and Susan Watkins, University of Texas Women’s Golf Coach.

“Our coaching staff will be complemented by 10 of the top-ranked collegiate golfers in the
country who will be our counselors and assist in instruction,” said Mays.

“The camp will be tailored to teach young golfers how to better play the game of golf
by exposing them to all aspects of the swing as well as the mental aspects of the game. The resort
features two championship courses and range facilities which will be used during the camp.

Georgia’s own, Miss Caroline Medley, Miss Georgia USA will be the official ambassador of the
event.  ESPN favorites, Stuart Scott and Kevin Frazier will also be attending. For full details and to book
