has announced that it is the first in the UK to integrate Eurostar into online
self-packaging tools for customers.Leisure travellers using lastminute.com to search for travel options
between London and Paris or Brussels can now use the website’s
“flights” and “flight + hotel” sections to search for Eurostar’s city
centre to city centre high speed rail services.

When a customer searches lastminute.com’s UK site with a departure
for Paris, Lille, Brussels/Bruges, they will automatically be offered
Eurostar as a transport option, alongside flights, all in best price
order.  lastminute.com believes this gives its customers an even more
comprehensive service for all their travel needs.

lastminute.com is able to include Eurostar seats in searches as it
now has a direct link to Eurostar’s sales inventory, enabling it to
search instantly ticket availability and pricing.

Dynamic packaging (self-packaging) has seen increasing consumer
adoption in the UK as savvy travellers understand the benefits it can
bring them in terms of pricing and convenience.  lastminute.com has
deployed dynamic packaging in its key markets of the UK, France,
Germany, Italy and Spain.
