eMark Rates Monitering Services Relaunched as Rategain

Riv Consulting Inc. has announced that it has taken over eMark Services-a software services company. RateGain customers can now expect to get more value from these comparative pricing reports and greater flexibility of formats including reports in pre-chosen XML schemas, graphic representations and analytical summaries. Also, different report formats could be used for different levels of decision makers in the client company.

Large travel portals, airlines, hotel chains, travel inventory consolidators and market research companies use the RateGain pricing intelligence. Though, most travel portals claim to offer “best-prices-on-the-web”; few actually do any structured competition tracking. With RateGain price-intelligence reports, any travel portal can out-smart it’s competition and increase it’s book-to-look ratio given the fact that any consumer checks-out several websites before finally making a booking.

Besides cheapest airfares, a comparative AirGain report contains data relating to stop-overs, advance booking periods, duration of return trip, minimum fares amongst all the travel portals being tracked, the difference between the fares on the customer’s portal and other portals etc. Similarly, a comparative HotelGain report contains star-ratings, advance booking period, length of stay, minimum rates amongst all the travel portals being tracked, the difference between the rates on the customer’s portal and other portals etc. The client decides the portals that need to be tracked and other parameters that affect price.
