Sales representatives from Le Meridien hotels throughout Europe, the Middle East, the Seychelles, Mauritius and India are coming to the UK to take part in the 2004 ‘Le Meridien Discovery Showcase’.
The four-day event, designed to build on relationships with trade partners, starts in Manchester on April 19 with road show style appointments with leisure, conference and incentive buyers, culminating in London on April 22 with a workshop and champagne reception at the Café Royal from 4 to 8pm.
According to Meenaz Lilani, Le Meridien’s sales vice president for Europe & Africa: “In addition to the individual hotel representatives, our regional sales team will provide information about the 19 new hotel openings currently in the pipeline for 2004 and beyond.
“The Discovery Showcase replaces the two separate events we held last year for our leisure and conference and incentive clients. We know everyone is under time pressure and by taking the hotel representatives on the road to visit specific clients and their teams in their office environment, we are confident this will be an effective way to update as many clients located outside central London as we can.”
