Re-discover Your Palate at Gran Hotel Son Net

Gran Hotel Son Net is excited to announce that the respected and well known gourmand French chef Grégory Goulot, who has arrived straight from the 2Star Michelin restaurant ‘La Bastide Saint Antoine’ in Grasse, will now be in charge of the kitchens.
Ê
With 31 years of age and originally from Nice on the Cote d’Azur, his extensive experience includes working as head chef for ‘Le Mirazur in Menton, (1 star Bottin Gourmand), Maxim’s in Paris and Monaco along with various other well known 2Star Michelin restaurants across France.Ê
Ê
Grégory Gaulot accomplishes a defined, but high variety cuisine combining his “savoir faire” and making use of all the readily available fresh products on the island.Ê A perfect example is his “Denté R™ti on a bed of lemon flavoured fennel with a roasted onion and cumin sauce” or his “crispy suckling pig with orange and ginger zest, coriander bread, baby spinach and a vinegar dressing”, finishing off with his “triptych orange sorbet, saffron flavoured meringues and a marmalade cream.”Ê Strongly focusing on seasonal products, there will be a ‘special menu’ available each month, so one can really enjoy and flavour the local products. The spring ‘A la Carte’, menu is already being served and is waiting to be tried.
Ê
Served in an enchanting spot with spectacular views of the valley of Puigpunyent, the poolside Gazebo restaurant will be open for lunches from the 1st May 2004 and during July and August a fixed dinner menu will also be available.Ê With a more relaxed and informal feel to the poolside setting, a selection of freshly grilled meats, fish and seafood prepared in an old stone oven or a variety of “tapas” served with fine wines are readily available to fulfill any hunger desires.
