Continental Airlines Linking Cleveland With Myrtle Beach

Continental Airlines today announced the airline will begin new nonstop
service linking its hub at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport with
Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Birmingham, Ala.
Seasonal once-daily service to Myrtle Beach, operated by Continental
Express using the 50-seat Embraer regional jet, begins June 10. The flight
will depart Cleveland at 9:45 a.m., arriving in Myrtle Beach at 11:26 a.m.
The return flight will depart Myrtle Beach at 12:30 p.m., arriving in
Cleveland at 2:18 p.m.

On July 1, Continental will inaugurate year-round, twice-daily service
linking Cleveland with Birmingham, Ala. The first flight will depart
Cleveland at 12:40 p.m., arriving in Birmingham at 1:40 p.m. The second
flight will depart Cleveland at 8:30 p.m., arriving at 9:30 p.m. From
Birmingham, the first flight will depart at 7:40 a.m. and arrive at 10:33
a.m. The second will depart at 3 p.m. and arrive in Cleveland at 5:51 p.m.
Flights between Cleveland and Birmingham will be operated by Continental
Express, using the 50-seat Embraer regional jet.

On both new services, flights are timed to offer convenient connections to
dozens of cities served to and from Cleveland by Continental, Continental
Express and partner airlines. Modified schedules may be offered on
off-peak days.

This year, Continental also will begin service from Cleveland to Northwest
Arkansas Regional Airport and Salt Lake City. In 2003, Continental,
Continental Express and Continental Connection began year-round and
seasonal service to more than 15 cities.
