Pollard Brook Bows as Flagship of New InnSeason

Prosperous and poised to expand again, Pollard Brook Resort in Lincoln, NH
is the new flagship of InnSeason Resorts, an emerging, family-run brand of
timeshare resorts in the Northeast.
Nestled in the Granite State’s White Mountains, InnSeason Resorts—
Pollard Brook boasts more than a hundred timeshare/hotel units on 52
mountainside acres with spectacular views of Loon Mountain. Employees
trained to deliver exceptional customer service cater to families and
singles seeking snow sports, spring and summer getaways and fall foliage.
But it’s not always been rosy for Pollard Brook. In 1993 it was called a
“white elephant” whose promise had gone unfulfilled. Sales of time-shares
were lagging, and the Town of Lincoln was demanding payment of back taxes.

One man had a vision of what Pollard Brook would become inside of a decade
—one of New Hampshire’s premier resorts. Dennis Ducharme of West
Yarmouth, Mass., along with two business partners, rescued the property at
public auction in 1993 and began the process of breathing success into it.

Ducharme’s efforts culminated recently when he and Billy Curran of
Gilford, NH bought Pollard Brook Resort outright from the original
partners. Curran is president of Curran Management Services, the largest
and most successful timeshare marketer in the Northeast.

“Having clear ownership of Pollard Brook with Billy Curran means we will
complete our vision and grow the resort to 300 first-class,
timeshare/hotel units by the end of the decade,” Ducharme said. “It will
become the largest resort of its kind in the Northeast.”

Curran added, “The coming together at Pollard Brook of first-class resort
operations, development, marketing and sales is significant for the
timeshare buyer. It will translate into greater vacation value, and only
the best in facilities, amenities and customer service under the new
InnSeason Resorts brand.”


Site development of phase six at Pollard Brook is already underway. Later
in March, construction will begin on 29 additional full-service units, a
mix of one- and two-bedroom suites complete with kitchenettes, private
balconies and Jacuzzis.

For vacationers, that under-performing white elephant of long ago has
turned into a radiant jewel.
