Industry Veteran to Head Operations for TechTravelers

24th Mar 2004

TechTravelers, producer of the premier second generation managed travel software suite mTravel?, today named 17-year high-tech industry executive Anthony Alberico, Jr. President and Chief Operating Officer.
Alberico has held executive positions with technology companies including Broadwing, Inc., Cambrian LLC, Digex, Inc., and PAI Communications. He most recently served as a Managing Partner of NextGen, LLC.

A member of President George W. Bush’s National Business Advisory Board, Alberico has made a specialty of maturing corporate development and routinely surpassing established goals and milestones. He has structured and overseen multi-million dollar contracts and has worked both in national and international markets.

Alberico has deep knowledge of OEM, ASP and Enterprise software channels. He has worked in identifying and establishing market reach in European, pan-Asian and Middle East regions during his previous tenures.

“Over the course of my experience, in directing organizations ranging from five to 500 people, I have developed a keen sense of what makes a successful product, service and company,” Alberico said. “With TechTravelers, I see a company that has all the essentials already in place; a company that is ready to take the next step in attaining major market share in a space that has been brutally underserved to date.

“TechTravelers’s mTravel? software suite is the clear market leader in its depth of offerings and breadth of technology,” Alberico continued. “As the only managed travel solution that is available both in an ASP and an Enterprise edition, TechTravelers has positioned itself to execute on a large scale and rapidly deploy the industry’s only second-generation managed travel solution. I look forward with great enthusiasm to see that TechTravelers delivers by providing significant cost savings for large and small business organizations.”

“I have known Anthony for several years, and respect what he has accomplished throughout his career,” Thomas Murray, TechTravelers’ Chief Executive Officer, said. “Anthony has great business vision, and it became evident we share the same outlook and strategy for TechTravelers. He is a natural fit for our company and a great asset. His proven experience, leadership and business acumen bolster our strong management team and increase our ability to execute our aggressive market strategy.”
