Gray Dawes Shortlisted for Prestigious Industry Award

Gray Dawes
announced today that it’s online booking system, gdbookonline, has been shortlisted for the 2004 Agent Achievement Award’s honor of Best Bookable E-commerce Site.
This Award is given to a leisure and a business travel agent that best demonstrates achievement in the provision of online travel reservation and processing facilities for either business-to-consumer or business-to-business travel. Judges looked for creative design, clarity of content and presentation of information, user friendliness and the interactive ability to check on-line availability and make reservations.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised by the Agent Achievement Awards for our innovative approach.  In developing gdbookonline, our overriding vision was to provide our customers with an online service that went beyond a normal booking system by offering a total online travel management facility that surpassed all others in the industry. We believe being short-listed for this award indicates we are on the way to meeting that objective,” said Ray Hopkins, managing director of Gray Dawes.

Added Hopkins: “This is only the beginning, as we will continue to revolutionise the way our clients do business, providing them with the tools to maximise their business travel while minimising time and cost.  We see enormous opportunities as we expand and enhance gdbookonline on an ongoing basis, ensuring it will always serve as the industry’s most advanced approach to online booking.”
