The Great Lakes of North America have this week launched their new web site www.greatlakesnorthamerica.co.uk. The site is very easily navigable and offers agents an excellent selling and information tool for the region.
Gail Orr Executive Director of the Great Lakes of North America said of the new website: “Travel consumers continue to move away from set packages in preferring tailor made holidays or the freedom to create individual packages, this point was substantiated by the key note speaker at a recent ABTA, business lunch. He stated that successful agents are those who work to create dynamic packages that match current consumer demand. In recognition of this GLNA has worked over the past year to build a website that enables agents to do just that.
“The Great Lakes encompasses an area the size of Europe and includes the largest expanse of freshwater in the world. Made up of the seven US states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin along with the Canadian province of Ontario. The region offers travellers an exciting destination and accessible isolation that is hard to find anywhere else in the world. By equipping agents with relevant knowledge of the destination we hope to open up the destination to a wider audience,” continued Orr

Added extras include, details of all UK tour operators offering commission, a guest book with hints and tips from previous visitors, hot promotions, a brochure request facility, image library and GLNA UK office contact details.”
