Air Jamaica to Resume flights to Haiti on March 10

Due to the prevailing state of political instability in Haiti Air Jamaica will not resume flights to that country and the Dominican Republic on Saturday March 6, 2004, as previously scheduled.

Flights JMX 365 from Montego Bay to Port-Au-Prince and Santo Domingo and JMX364 from Santo Domingo and Port-Au- Prince to Montego Bay that were scheduled to resume on Saturday, have been further suspended until Wednesday, March 10, 2004.

Air Jamaica Express operates the flights to Haiti and the Dominican Republic on behalf of Air Jamaica using the 37-seat Dash 8 aircraft.

Deputy Chairman & CEO, Christopher Zacca, says the situation in Haiti is evaluated daily and the safety of our passengers, crew and aircraft remains the number one priority for the national airline.
