American Airlines Partners With NAACP

American Airlines proudly shines the spotlight on the 35th NAACP Image
Awards, a prestigious televised program celebrating the outstanding
achievements and performances of entertainers, artists and business and
community leaders. A long-time supporter of the NAACP, this year American
expanded its partnership, becoming the official airline of the 35th NAACP
Image Awards. The program will air Thursday, March 11, at 8 p.m. EST on FOX. More

This year’s theme “Salute to Excellence” honors the exemplary
accomplishments of those who go above and beyond to portray positive
images and create new opportunities for people of color. Outkast, Beyonce
and the cast of Showtime’s “Soul Food” are among more than 170 artists
nominated for Image Awards this year.

recognize the tremendous impact these remarkable individuals have made in
