Edinburgh Convention Bureau Launches Customer Service System

As part of Edinburgh Convention Bureau’s ongoing work to ensure that it provides the best possible service to its members, it is introducing meetingedinburgh.com, a new, specially designed interactive website that will provide on-line information on over 200 Edinburgh and Lothians meeting and events suppliers from March 8 2004. meetingedinburgh.com

is the first system of its kind in the UK. Edinburgh Convention Bureau, the business tourism division of Edinburgh & Lothians Tourist Board, has set up the site to provide a one-stop shop for people who are considering or planning an event in the city.

Customers will be able to submit their meeting specifications to the site, which will forward the information directly to suitable suppliers. Suppliers will then respond directly to enquiries with their proposal, ensuring that finding suitable space in and around Edinburgh is as easy as possible.
