Wyndham Aruba Fuses Stateside and Island Flavors
The Wyndham Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino announces the opening of the
redesigned Pago Pago American Steakhouse. Pairing classic American
steakhouse fare with island flavors unique to Aruba and the Caribbean, the
new Pago Pago demonstrates the resort’s commitment to listening and
responding to guest desires by offering world-class dining experiences.
The new menu features the highest-quality USDA-certified aged Black Angus
beef, previewed tableside by Pago Pago’s dedicated serving staff,
Caribbean lobster tails and Pago Pago’s signature dish, the Caribbean
baked shrimp with coconut milk and ginger sauce. In addition to
traditional steakhouse favorites such as aged sirloin, lamb chops and the
“Cowboy Steak”—a generous bone-in rib eye—Pago Pago delivers
one-of-a-kind local flavors native to Aruba and the Caribbean with dishes
such as the Macadamia Crusted Grouper and the freshest seafood grilled to
perfection, such as the Swordfish, served with saffron sauce and house
relish, and Sea Bass served with Avocado relish.
“With the opening of the Pago Pago American Steakhouse, we have added yet
another experience unlike any other on the island, thus complimenting the
Wyndham Aruba’s culinary offering giving guests incredible and diverse
dining choices,” said Rob Smith, general manager of the Wyndham Aruba
Resort, Spa & Casino. “The newly redesigned Pago Pago brings the feel and
flavor of the American steakhouse and truly melds it with Aruba’s lush
Caribbean fare.”
The Wyndham Aruba boasts seven other on-site restaurants that along with
the Pago Pago American Steakhouse, offer something for even the most
discriminating palettes. Cafe Baci features Northern Italian cuisine in a
romantic setting; Blossoms offers well-appointed Japanese and Chinese
cuisine with a sushi bar; Azul Restaurant features a four-course menu of
culinary delights while allowing guests to enjoy a barefoot sunset dining
experience on the beach; Havana Tropical, the island’s only live dinner
show that features a Cuban-style revue; the Greenhouse Restaurant,
offering a full American breakfast buffet; the Terrace Restaurant,
boasting a view of the Caribbean Sea, with International breakfast, and
all-day snacks; and the Tambu Bar & Grill, located between the pool and
the beach with freshly grilled specialties.
Located on an island known for its friendliness and hospitality, the
Wyndham Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino, a AAA Four Diamond luxury resort,
combines Dutch Caribbean charm with Vegas-style excitement to create an
ideal oasis. The resort has 481-newly renovated guest rooms, including 79
suites, all with ocean views and spacious private balconies.
