United Airlines and The Hertz Corporation today
announced the “Fly Away - Drive Away” promotion for travelers who love to
get away and experience life on the road.
Beginning today, customers who purchase a roundtrip ticket on United,
United Express or Ted by February 22nd for domestic travel or by February
26th for international travel and also rent any size vehicle from Hertz
for two or more days in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico earn an additional
day free(1) from Hertz. In addition, United’s Mileage Plus(R) members can
also earn 50 miles per day for each qualifying rental day as well as 1,000
miles(2) when they book their tickets on united.com .

Martin White, senior vice president-Marketing at United, said: “Our ‘Fly
Away - Drive Away’ promotion allows customers to plan their entire trip,
from the runway to the road, while taking advantage of low fares from
United and great rates from Hertz. What’s more, there are excellent
opportunities for Mileage Plus members to earn more miles.”

This offer is valid at participating Hertz locations in the U.S., Puerto

Hertz is the largest worldwide general use car rental business operating
from approximately 7,000 locations in more than 150 countries.
