TOWARD Europe has announced the
signing of British Airways’ wholly owned global tour operating subsidiary
British Airways Holidays, as its latest member.
British Airways Holidays decision increases TOWARD Europe’s membership to 35
leading travel industry companies and follows the recent arrival of
EuropCar, the leading car rental company and WorldRes, the online hotel
reservations network.

The company attended TOWARD Europe’s first annual conference in Nice, (8-9
February) along with existing members including Eurostar, Hertz Europe,
Amadeus, Cosmos and Cendant Travel Distribution Services.

Clare Bullock, Head of eBusiness for British Airways Holidays said: “An
uncertain external landscape, changing business models and technology
development will continue to fuel a travel distribution revolution. We want

other industry colleagues to drive forward developing distribution
