Bowen Travel Group signs to Broadband Travel Network

(Travel Division) has won a contract to supply broadband services to 41-branch agency the Bowen Travel Group.
Bowen Travel Group is to benefit from The Broadband Travel Network, a comprehensive range of managed broadband services developed specifically for the UK travel industry. The group, which operates leisure and business agencies and private coach tours, predicts that implementation of Broadband Professional will lead to IT savings of over 30 per cent.

Broadband Professional’s unrivalled managed broadband service for operators, agents and other travel companies provides one of the highest levels of guaranteed bandwidth in the industry.

With a user contention ratio of 4:1, Broadband Professional enables data transfer up to five times faster than standard ADSL service1, offering the group’s agents a quicker connection to Traveleye - NTL Business (Travel Division)‘s leading integrated selling system - and improved communications between its head office and branches.
