Sunny Jim set to make comeback on Grand Cayman

Florida has Jimmy Buffet. Jamaica has the Marley Family. And during the last week in June, Grand Cayman will have Sunny Jim.During the week of June 20-27, visitors can enjoy a sun-filled week on Grand Cayman. The days will feature snorkeling, diving and sailing along the crystal clear waters of fabled Seven Mile Beach. On Saturday, June 26, participants will first enjoy a Sunset Sail aboard Red Sail Sports’ beautiful 65’ catamaran, followed by dinner on the beach. Finally, there’ll be a special seaside evening Sunny Jim concert at the Hyatt Regency Resort.

James “Sunny Jim” White spent more than a decade living and working in the Cayman Islands, and this experience gave him plenty of material for original songs. With Sunny Jim’s laid-back attitude and island style, his music is often described as uniquely “American Caribbean.” From 1989 to 2000, he was the artist-in-residence at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman, one of the Caribbean’s finest resorts.
