Tut Systems Inc. announced today that Isrighthere, Ltd. and COLT Telecom have deployed
their first 100Mbps ultra-broadband Internet access solution to the hotel
sector in Europe using Tut’s Expresso(R) line of broadband products. COLT
Telecom is a leading pan-European provider of business communication
services, and Isrighthere is one of Europe’s leading providers of managed
wire-line and wireless broadband solutions.

This deployment by COLT Telecom, Isrighthere and Tut Systems represents
the first stage of a program focused on enabling ultra-high speed
broadband Internet connectivity for business travelers in Europe.

The solution targets four and five-star hotels in more than 33 cities
across Europe currently served by COLT’s extensive fiber network and
Internet Solution Centers. Isrighthere, based in Berkshire, England, will
provide hotels with all of the installation, maintenance and support
services required to deliver high-speed Internet throughout their
facilities.

The solution utilizes Tut Systems Expresso products to provide high-speed
access to guest rooms and conference rooms over the hotel’s existing phone
lines. The Expresso SMS/OCS, Tut’s hotel based subscriber management
system, will be used to manage access and billing across all wired and
wireless access points in the building.
