The St. Lucia Tourist Board is once again embarking upon a travel agent incentive programme. The St. Lucia Specialist Programme within the United States commenced last week with the Travel Institute (formerly the Institute of Certified Travel Agents). St. Lucia is the first Caribbean island to offer a specific Caribbean destination specialist program with the Travel Institute.
Throughout the next three years the St. Lucia Tourist Board will offer a number of incentives to travel agents who have been qualified to be St. Lucia Specialists through the programme. Incentives such as these encourage travel agents to recommend St. Lucia to their clients and drive business to the island.The St. Lucia Specialist programme consists of a thorough education programme on the island for participating travel agents. This culminates in an intensive FAM trip to St. Lucia allowing agents to experience the product first hand.
