Anite’s New @comRes Reservation System Ready for Take-Off

Anite

will be demonstrating its new open architecture, integrated reservations, content management and CRM solution, @comRes, at Travel Technology 2004.  A brand new design, directly responding to the needs of today’s travel market place, it uses the latest Oracle database, XML messaging and browser technology.
This integrated selling and administration system provides multi-channel distribution to call centres and the Internet. @comRes is currently being used for dynamically packaging hotels and extras and will be live in a couple of months with the sale of airline seats.

Says Bruce Anderson, Chairman of Anite Travel Systems, “@comRes is a major part of the @com solution - an integrated set of business applications and infrastructure designed to manage the entire tour operating process.  Its development has been driven in response to market and customer needs, in particular the challenges of multi-channel distribution and dynamic packaging. @com components have been released with great regularity over the last couple of years and this is the latest important piece in the @com suite. Anite has made, and continues to make, considerable investment in this new generation of tools.”

Anite’s @com strategy has been designed to give customers choice in how they address their unique business challenges. Whether they wish to take costs out of their business, improve profitability, have multi-channel distribution capabilities, implement dynamic packaging, offer
24x7 operations, protect their investment in their existing core systems or need a scaleable and reliable new technology booking system, Anite can help.

Anderson concludes, “I hope that @comRes will excite the industry as much as it excites me! This brand new development provides a platform that will support a seamless process from ‘look to book’, for tour operators worldwide. We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to our stand to see @comRes in action.”
