Bonaire has been named the top Caribbean Dive Destination by the 2004 Rodale’s Scuba Diving Reader’s Choice Awards for the second consecutive year.
The island garnered a #1 rating in a total of six categories including top dive destination (95.2%), top marine life (93.9%), top underwater visibility (94.3%), top shore diving (98%), top beginner diving (93.6%), and top underwater photography (94.5%).The scores reflect the percentage of fours - very good, and fives - excellent, awarded by thousands of Rodale’s subscribers and web users who rated their experiences on a scale of 1 - 5. The results of the 2004 Awards are featured in the January/February 2004 issue of Rodale’s Scuba Diving and on their web site www.scubadiving.com/top100.
