Coast to Coast Resorts Convert to New Online Reservations Systems
Coast to Coast Resorts
have converted to a new reservations system that is intended to revolutionize the outdoor hospitality industry and provide a new way to travel for its nearly 150,000 members. The new enables Coast to Coast Resorts members to save money when they visit any of the over 300 top-rated private CampResorts in the United States, Canada and Mexico. This is in addition to the nearly 350 affiliated RV parks and campgrounds that are part of the Coast to Coast Good Neighbor Park network.
“With the implementation of the new methods and systems, Coast to Coast, to the best of my knowledge, will have the world’s largest and most vibrant real-time online reservations system for the outdoor hospitality industry,” says Grant Miller, Coast to Coast Resorts president. “Coast
to Coast is re-inventing the industry by providing state-of-the-art
systems, better access, greater convenience and higher value for its membership
and network of resort affiliate partners.”
Tripsetter, Coast to Coast’s online reservation system, makes travel
planning easier. Members can search online for participating affiliates
or Good Neighbor Parks as well as confirm availability and book
reservations online. It provides 24-hour access for the resorts and members to
manage,
reserve, modify and cancel reservations. Members will also have the
option
to call Coast to Coast Resorts toll free and have a Travel Counselor
assist in making their reservations and travel plans.
The Internet-based reservation system allows affiliated resorts to
manage
every aspect when hosting a Coast to Coast member. CampResorts can use
the real time system to check-in and edit arrivals, check-out and edit
departures, and also accommodate members when they simply drive-up
without a reservation. Tripsetter also gives resorts the capability of accessing and generating a number of valuable system reports to improve
operational efficiency.
Replacing the 31-year old system of Camping Cards, Trip Points are a new paperless medium of exchange that makes the system easy to use. Trip Points enable members to pay for their vacation activities in place of Camping Cards. An electronic account of Trip Points will be maintained
for each member and be accessible online.

Trip Points can be used for campsites and for rental accommodations like cabins, luxury park models, condominiums or even teepees at many of the
locations in the network. “The program makes it easier than ever for
members to reserve space at the resort of their choice,” said Miller.
“More than the premier reciprocal-use camping system, Coast to Coast
Resorts will become the foremost provider of seamless, integrated
solutions for the outdoor hospitality industry,” continued Miller. In an
effort to lead industry growth, Coast to Coast Resorts will develop a
network of strategic business partners and alliances that will create
new
travel and leisure- related products and services while enhancing
existing
offers to the membership and affiliate network.
