I doubt you can travel so near and feel as far away as you do at the Herrington Inn and Spa in west suburban Geneva. The hotel ripples out of the shell of the former Geneva Rock Springs Dairy, built in 1874 along the west side of the Fox River.The warm, European-influenced inn features 61 courtyard and riverside guest rooms. The hotel is constructed from indigenous limestone that builders began using after Geneva was settled following the Black Hawk War.

The rooms feature fireplaces, king-size beds, private river-view terraces, in-room stereos and DVD/VCR systems. The bathrooms include oversized whirlpool baths, heated marble floors and dual basin sinks, which came in handy when I visited the inn with my girlfriend, who brought along a North Michigan Avenue cosmetics department for our one-night stay in the country.

The Spa at the Herrington is offering a Gentlemen’s menu with Traditional hot lather shaves! Both in room and in the spa.

Each Shave uses our e-Shave or Babor products with e-Shave razor and brush, hot milk and honey infused towels to cleanse, nourish and soften the skin, and a face, neck and shoulder and scalp massage.

The shaving cream even targets their skin type! Coupled with our Viking Hand Repair and a Deep Tissue Massage and Guided Power Nap, a spa day takes on a whole other meaning for men at the Inn or from the area.

It’s something the golfing guys can do together after leaving the green and can be followed by dinner at A*censored*ers in the Inn.Great for a Holiday gift too. Fun and relaxing!
