Hotel Fortina Spa Resort In Malta


The second phase in the development of the Hotel Fortina Spa Resort in Sliema, Malta is expected to be completed by April 2004. The $20 million project includes a 17-story tower, housing 126 guestrooms and luxury suites, ten restaurants offering international cuisine, a separate five-star reception area and a newly built Santé Spa Center finished to the highest standards.

With the second phase, the new Santé Spa Center will include: a Finnish Sauna, Mediterranean Sauna, the Reflexology Basin, an Ice Fountain, a Kneipp walk, a Relaxation area with Tepidarium and heated recliners, Experience Showers, Laconium Trilogy - the holistic bathing ritual - and Aqua Meditation.

The first phase, completed in July 2003, involved the construction of a new wing at the hotel, with the world’s first therapeutic spa bedrooms. These include 33 therapeutic spa bedrooms, 15 of which have their own private pool on the roof and 20 of which have spa bathrooms and a separate spa on the balcony.
