has launched a fully integrated Christmas campaign that sees the continuation of its tongue-in-cheek religious theme.
The campaign theme, “deliver unto us great gifts”, is designed to communicate the inspiring gifts and experiences available onsite that are delivered free, and sees lastminute.com use a variety of ambient advertising medium including Route Master bus sides, central London black taxis and Ad Vans in the West End.
In addition guerilla activity includes Golf Signs on Oxford Street and leafleting in central London with people dressed as lastminute.com choirboys and angels. There will also be 30” adverts in December on Heart, Xfm, Virgin and Jazz.
Online activity is extensive with a number of key partnerships in place including presence in the Christmas section of both AOL and Freeserve featuring special and exclusive offers, buttons and banners as well as additional welcome screen promotions. A preferred partner status with Kelkoo for Christmas has been set up with homepage presence, and duplicated on MSN shopping as well as partnerships with e-christmas, GM.TV, Tesco.com, Tiscali, Virgin.net and Yahoo.
A Christmas newsletter will be emailed to over 3000 affiliates and Christmas gifts and travel keywords are now live on Google, Overture and Espotting.
