Terra Lycos and OneTravel.com have announced an agreement whereby Lycos users will have access to millions of OneTravel’s low-priced travel deals, at the new Lycos Travel.

Whether Lycos shoppers access travel through banner ads in the Lycos network or through travel pages on Lycos.com, consumers can search and book from 500 airlines, 68,000 hotels, 48 car rental companies, and more than six million vacation packages and cruises to destinations worldwide. Additionally, travelers will have access to other unique products, such as stand-alone travel insurance, the largest database of charter airfares on the Web, as well as last minute vacation bargains.

 

In addition to breadth of travel inventory, the Lycos Travel site will incorporate OneTravel’s newly improved airfare search technology. Travelers can review over 230 flight options in a single search - offering more fares than any other travel site. Other features allow users to search by Cabin Preference or Airline Preference as well as the ability to book within three hours of departure. Once a search has been performed, a convenient FareCompare tool allows travelers to easily view and email preferred flight options.
