Launches Cruise Matrix Display, has announced the launch of its new cruise booking engine, combining an easy-to-navigate user interface with real-time availability. The first of its kind, the engine employs a cruise matrix display, showing price, length of sailing, and cruise ship at-a-glance.

Travelers can quickly sort through millions of itineraries by using four primary search options, including Cruise Destination, Cruise Line, Cruise Ship, or Departure Date. In broad search queries, when more than ten options are available, users will be directed to the cruise matrix to help expedite their decision-making process. Using the convenient grid-like display, travelers can compare multiple cruise lines or cruise ships by price and length of stay - all on a single page.

“Our cruise matrix display is unique because travelers can be presented with 200 cruise options at a time and instantly locate the best deals,” states Mike Putman, VP of Vacations and Cruises for “Take Carnival’s Inspiration, for instance. Users can quickly see that 4-night cruises are available from $299, whereas 5-night cruises are available for $249. It’s safe to assume most travelers will opt for a longer cruise at a $50 savings. This display helps them to spot optimal value for the money.”

In addition to the cruise matrix, OneTravel’s new interface allows users to choose their exact cabin as well as specify a dining preference. Rich content and images throughout the search process help travelers to better choose the cruise right for them.
