Lastminute.com has signed a deal with hotel reservations network, WorldRes.
The deal means consumers using lastminute will have access to WorldRes’ portfolio of over 35,000 hotels. Hotel groups signed up to WorldRes include Accor, Hilton International and InterContinental.
Lastminute has an XML connection to the WorldRes inventory which means bookings should be ‘seamless’.
Lastminute general manager, global hotels, Alfonso Castellano said the online agency chose WorldRes because it was designed specifically for the online travel retailer.
Lastminute regularly comes out top for number of visits to UK agency websites, according to internet monitors, Hitwise. Lastminute also owns the online brands, holidayautos.com, travelprice.com, degriftour.com, travelselect.com and travel4less.co.uk.
