Ramesys Announces Agreement with Uniglobe

has announced a contract with business travel agency group, Uniglobe
to supply its Robotic Quality Assurance system to the organisation. The deal sees Uniglobe extending its existing contract with Ramesys in the UK for a further three years and rolling-out the system to Uniglobe travel agencies across South Africa, Holland, Belgium, India, Germany, Italy and Austria.
Ramesys’ Robotic Quality Assurance system - which can also be harnessed by agents using alternative agency management systems - means agents can
have PNR (Passenger Name Record) information automatically populated with data. The system also quality-checks records to ensure items such as corporate policy are met, minimising the need for agent intervention and reducing unproductive and costly administrative tasks.

Additional features include automated wait-list checking, alerting agents when ‘full’ flights have become available, and enables detailed itineraries to be personally emailed to clients.

Other companies using Ramesys’ Robotic Quality Assurance system include P&O Business Travel and Carlson Wagonlit.
Derek Hearl Maunder, Chief Operating Officer of Uniglobe commented: “Uniglobe prides itself on its use of leading edge technology to ensure the very best level of service and support for its customers. Ramesys’ Robotic Quality Assurance system plays a key role for us in our Business Travel Management suite of software.”
Brian Sheerin, Ramesys’ managing director, said: “Uniglobe’s decision to extend its contract for Ramesys’ Robotic Quality Assurance system underlines the importance of booking products within the business travel agency sector.”
He continued: “In the business travel agency market, client retention is key. It is essential for agents to offer fast, accurate bookings, and top quality service, whilst minimising the costs of doing so. We firmly believe the Robotic Quality Assurance system leads the market in ensuring companies needs are met.”
Ramesys also offers a leisure booking management system - SABS Agent, which provides a web-based multi-operator search and booking engine. The system provides access to over four million bookable holidays and flights, and providing search functionality including lifestyle differentiators such as family-friendly beaches.
