Travelocity Selects Mckinney & Silver as Adertising Agency of Record

Travelocity
has announced that it has selected McKinney + Silver, Raleigh, N.C., as its new advertising agency of record.
McKinney + Silver is internationally known for award-winning creative work for clients such as Audi of America, the NASDAQ stock market and Lands’ End. “We are thrilled to have engaged McKinney + Silver as our new ad agency,” said Susan McLaughlin, vice president of marketing for Travelocity. “Their account and creative teams have sterling reputations throughout the ad industry and we’re looking forward to tapping into their vast knowledge base as we explore new directions for the Travelocity brand.”
“This as an incredible opportunity for our agency,” said Brad Brinegar, president and CEO of McKinney + Silver. “Travelocity has been at the forefront of the revolution that is currently taking place in the travel industry and they have shown a genuine interest in capitalizing on the economic power of talked about work. We couldn’t be more excited about the partnership.”
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The Rojek Cutcher Group, Cleveland, Ohio, served as Travelocity’s marketing consultant throughout the review process.
