, was recognized as World’s Leading Airline Internet Site last week at the 10th annual World Travel Awards
. Additionally, American was chosen as North America’s Leading Airline and won the World’s Leading Economy Class award.

For 10 years, the World Travel Awards have honored excellence in the travel and tourism industry. Tens of thousands of travel professionals in more than 200 countries cast their votes on the award Web site for their favorites in all areas of the industry, with most leading travel Internet sites offering additional online voting facilities.
