Pegasus Solutions Is One of North America’s Fastest-Growing Companies
Pegasus Solutions Inc. announced that it has been named to the Technology Fast 50 Program for Texas, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Texas by Deloitte, one of the nation’s leading professional services firms. Dallas-based Pegasus Solutions is a leading global provider of hotel reservations-related services and technology.
Pegasus was also named to the North American Fast 500 list, which recognizes the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in North America. This is the third year in a row that Pegasus has been included on the Fast 50 and Fast 500 lists.
“We are very proud of this recognition, especially given the challenges that have impacted the travel industry in recent years,” said John F. Davis III, chairman, president and CEO of Pegasus Solutions Inc. “Our success can be attributed directly to our broad range of services, combined with the talents of our staff and their dedication to our customers.”
Rankings for the programs are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 1998-2002. Pegasus’ revenue increased more than 639 percent from 1998 to 2002.
“To succeed during prosperous times is one thing; to succeed in adversity is much more challenging, and that’s exactly what the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 winners have done,” said Skip Moore, regional managing partner for technology, media and telecommunications for Deloitte. “We applaud Pegasus Solutions for its tremendous accomplishments during economically challenging times and for being one of the elite Fast 500 as well as a Fast 50 company in Texas.”
Formed in 1989, Pegasus is an integral component of the travel industry, touching hundreds of thousands of hotel reservations-related transactions every day. The company’s services include:
