Travelocity Adds Homestead Hotels to Merchant Mix

Travelocity‘s merchant hotel program now features Atlanta-based Homestead Studio Suites Hotels, giving consumers access to the company’s inventory via the Travelocity® hotel and TotalTripSM shopping engines. Homestead Studio Suites Hotels currently operates 132 hotels in 32 states in suburban markets of major U.S. cities. More than 70 percent of these properties have been built since 1997.
“Travelocity’s merchant hotel offering is innovative and supplier-friendly,” said Tim Groves, Homestead Studio Suites executive vice president sales and marketing. “Extending the reach of our brand into this key third-party distribution channel is a smart move for Homestead. We look forward to growing our relationship with them.”
Ross Mantione, Travelocity’s vice president, partner marketing alliances said on the deal: “The extended stay segment of the marketplace continues to grow in influence and it’s key for us to have a player like Homestead Studio Suites in our merchant hotel mix.”
The roll out of Homestead Studio Suites Hotels merchant inventory on Travelocity has already begun and more properties are being added daily.
