Sell-It Suite family of solutions has been enhanced to support dynamic packaging and pricing, and Tour Operator negotiated fares. These enhancements mean that Sell-It Suite is ideally positioned as an online sales and distribution platform for Tour Operators selling products combining scheduled air with accommodation, for example City Breaks or long haul holidays.
This functionality, combined with Sell-It’s new Galileo web services capability, enables Tour Operators to sell packages consisting of accommodation plus various flight options. Sell-It checks availability of each flight option before presenting a list of flights to a site visitor, who is then able to choose the most appropriate flight to meet their requirements. The flight element of the package can then be booked directly on Galileo to secure the available flights. The system also allows online credit card authorisation and payment to ensure that the customer pays a deposit for the flight segments at the time of booking.
For City Breaks operators this solution will dramatically reduce the demands on call centre staff, particularly in the searching and booking of scheduled flights, and the accurate gathering and processing of credit card details. This, in turn allows staff to concentrate on pro-active marketing campaigns and offline customer enquiries.
