Gemtek Systems and Wificom Technologies today announced a joint large-scale solution for the global Wi-Fi carrier market.

The turnkey solution combines Gemtek Systems’ broad product line - including access points, gateways, client devices, and network management software - with Wificom’s proven backend billing and service management product, the SAB Server. Both companies’ products are designed expressly for public access hot spots. The interoperability between the products is seamless and enables carriers and service providers to rapidly deploy and manage PWLAN networks.

Gemtek Systems’ and Wificom Technologies’ trial systems have been established with customers in Europe, and the companies will market the joint solution through existing reseller and distributor channels.
