The Statler Hotel announced today that it has selected Lexington Services for its global reservations.
Under the agreement, Lexington will provide centrally hosted reservations technology, support and exposure through the Global Distribution Systems and Internet Distribution Systems. The Statler will manage all of their major distribution channels through Lexington’s exclusive web-enabled product, LexLink Online.
“We wanted a reservations partner who could provide the level of service that a hotel of The Statler’s distinction requires, and we believe we have found this in Lexington Services,” said Rick Adie, general manager of The Statler. “Instrumental in our decision was the fact that Lexington’s personnel are all deeply rooted in the hotel industry- not only do they understand the technology, but they also understand the nuances of the hotel industry, and specifically The Statler’s unique market position.”
Through Lexington’s web-enabled portal LexLink Online, The Statler can update their rates, inventory and restrictions online effortlessly, seamlessly and in real-time. In addition, Lexington’s new hotel web site booking engine, LexBookSM, allows The Statler to manage and control inventory and increase revenues through its own web site, maximizing their ability to capture additional online market share.
