If the body is the temple for the soul it deserves a lot more attention in 2004.
If you`ve indulged your sweet tooth over the holidays and eaten too much foie and drank too much Champagne you might want to do some spring cleaning, like we have vowed to do. A spa experience is in order.
Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu recently unveiled its healing haven of Island Rituals just 40 feet from the ocean.
“The latest gem in [the] property`s multi-million dollar face lift,” according to general manager Brad Jencks, the Turtle Bay`s spa puts its unique spin on the spa experience by offering island rituals that capture the essence of the North Shore such as the Lomi Lomi massage, Polynesian Salt Scrub and Limu Wrap, the latter helping you to restore your mana, or spiritual energy.
The spa features six ocean-view indoor rooms including a wet room with Vichy shower as well as four outdoor cabanas, a sun-drenched whirlpool, steam rooms, personal training and nutritional counseling.
The 800-acre Turtle Bay Resort is located on five miles of North Shore beach and besides lounging in the spa offers guests the opportunity to play some championship golf, take a dip in its two pools, ride horses, play tennis or hike on 12 miles of oceanfront trails.
The current Spa Paradise package includes:
- Upgrade to a premium ocean-front room
- One night accommodations for two
- One 50-minute massage
- Resort service fee and room taxes are included
