Starwood`s Ultra Luxury Set To Hit Anguilla


Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide have announced plans to launch a new ultra-luxury resort and residential project.
Temenos Anguilla, a St. Regis Retreat, will debut in 2006 as a leisure extension of Starwood`s renowned St. Regis brand.
“We believe that this opportunity to develop a super luxurious resort, which surpasses even a five-star level of quality, featuring architecturally-significant residences and the finest golf, tennis, resort and spa facilities achievable today, represents an ideal launch for the St. Regis brand into the Caribbean,” said Barry S. Sternlicht, Starwood`s Chairman and CEO.
“Temenos Anguilla, a St. Regis Retreat will be private and exclusive, catering to the very top end of the market, and this distinctive Retreat may be something we will want to replicate in other exclusive destinations.”

Temenos Anguilla, a St. Regis Retreat, will feature an 18-Hole Championship golf course developed by Greg Norman scheduled to open in 2005 which will be Anguilla`s first golf course.
The spa and fitness facilities are intended to be the most elite in the Caribbean as are the Retreat`s multiple food and beverage offerings including an ideally located beachfront bar.
